This holiday weekend is about a lot of things to many people. It may be filled with family, it may be spent alone, it may be full of plenty, or not enough. Happy traditions to some, stressful to others. The dichotomy and duality of the holidays is ever present. A Very Spooky Medical Crisis
Ahhhh…October! A joyous time of warm spices and transitional weather. Hot one second, cold the next. We begin to layer. We are layering not only our clothes, but our Halloween/ Fall decorations and especially our social calendar. Things are filling up (or are already packed to the max!) Mix in some Mysterious Neurology, and you have a very spooky medical crisis on your hands.
Bringing Summer Energy into the School Year
Though summer technically has a couple months to go, the school-free summer days are almost at a close. The transition from summer to school days brings up the question: How can we bring the playful days of summer with us into the busy school year?
Re-Visioning Our Vision
As we race full speed toward the end of 2021, scratching our heads at how we could possibly be entering 2022 in a few weeks, and clinging to the dream of at least one date night during our break, my husband and I find ourselves leaning hard on our Relationship Vision.
My Imago Journey
I was persuaded to attend the Imago Couples Workshop by my husband. My love for him helped me to agree and in the 20 years that have passed, I have never regretted it.
It is very fascinating and challenging to get to know myself. It is a lifelong journey, that includes all areas. Areas in which I feel comfortable and like to see myself the way I am and like to be seen that way by others.
Groundhog Day
The last two weeks my kids were home from school with a cough. We did test after test, and each came back negative for COVID. A blessing, and yet, it felt the same as when we had COVID last January.
