Imago Consultant Training - Advanced Imago Training

Become a Certified Imago Consultant

The Imago Consultant embodies the Imago theory when giving feedback to professional colleagues, in self-supervision and to those seeking supervision from them. Part 1 of the training, The Art of Consultation course, covers the different aspects of supervision from a relational paradigm while bringing together Imago theory concepts such as lost parts as growth edges and how to work with our own lost parts in the process. Part two offers consultation to the trainee on their developing skills giving feedback to others both in group settings and in one-on-one consultation.

The Forgiveness Possibility

The Forgiveness Possibility

Forgiveness is a complicated experience in a relationship. We tend to have an assumption in Imago that if we put couples into good dialogue and keep them in good dialogue, ruptures will heal over time. While this is often true, when we are dealing with betrayal and all of the depths of dissolve that come with betrayal, different ways of healing exist that carry varying levels of depth. Couples need a comprehensive set of skills to recover from betrayal and one piece that is most longed for but often the hardest to get our arms around is the forgiveness piece. Come spend an hour discussing some highlights from this training where she will share some of the ideas, dialogues, and research from this course that may open the possibility of forgiveness for couples.
